Residents are responsible for bringing items to the site for collection/drop off.

Harrison County Beautification will not pick items up from a residence.

1. ALL ITEMS MUST BE IN THE TRUNK, TRUCK BED, OR TRAILER FOR EASY ACCESS

2. ITEMS CANNOT BE BAGGED, AND MUST BE VISIBLE 

3. ONLY THESE ITEMS LISTED WILL BE ACCEPTED       ​

        * LATEX OR OIL BASED PAINT

        * USED COOKING OR AUTOMOBILE OIL

        * ANTIFREEZE

        * HOUSEHOLD, MARINE AND CAR BATTERIES

        * AEROSOL CANS

        * FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS (SUCH AS GASOLINE)

        * WHITE GOODS SUCH AS FREEZERS AND REFRIGERATORS

        * FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULBS

        * TIRES  (5 PER VISIT- NO MORE THAN 25 PER HOUSEHOLD YEARLY-STRICTLY ENFORCED) TIRES CANNOT BE ON THE RIM, AND NO TRACTOR TIRES.

        * E-WASTE (ELECTRONICS) SUCH AS COMPUTERS, CELL PHONES, TELEPHONES, TV'S

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED;

Items in a container larger then a 1 or 5 gallon, herbicides, pesticides, asbestos, rubber cement, roofing material, explosives, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, construction debris, furniture or waste form business.​
